These Terms & Conditions govern your use of rainco.com.au and any purchase you make from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — if you don't accept them, please don't use our site.

Using our website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in any way other than through the interface we provide. We may update, suspend, or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Products, pricing and availability

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. We take care to ensure product descriptions, images and prices are accurate, but errors can occur — where we find one, we may correct it and will let you know before your order is dispatched. Please note that finishes and colours may vary slightly from how they appear on screen, due to the natural variation of our products and the limits of photography and displays. Products are subject to availability, and we may limit quantities or discontinue items at any time.

Placing an order

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted once we send you a confirmation; we may decline or cancel an order (for example, where an item is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred, or we're unable to verify your details), and if we do, we'll refund any payment made.

Pre-orders and backorders

Some products may be available to pre-order or on backorder. For these items, the dispatch date shown is an estimate and may change; payment is taken when you order to reserve your item. To cancel a pre-order before it's dispatched, contact us and we'll arrange a refund.

Payment

Payment is processed securely at checkout through our payment providers (including buy-now-pay-later options such as Afterpay, if you choose one). We don't store your full card details. Title to goods passes to you once payment is received in full.

Promotions and discount codes

From time to time we may offer promotions or discount codes. These may be subject to conditions (such as minimum spend, eligible products, or an expiry date), can't be used in conjunction with other offers unless we say so, and may be varied or withdrawn at any time. Codes have no cash value and can't be applied to past orders.

Delivery

Delivery timeframes and costs are shown at checkout and are estimates only. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Installation and use of products

Our tapware and fittings should be installed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and all applicable Australian Standards and plumbing regulations. Product information on our website is general guidance only and is not a substitute for professional advice. Incorrect installation, use, or care may damage the product and can affect your warranty. It's your responsibility to ensure a product is suitable for your intended application before installing it.

Returns, warranty and your consumer rights

Our Returns Policy and Warranty Terms form part of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees — those rights apply in addition to anything stated here.

Trade accounts

Trade accounts are offered at our discretion and may be subject to separate trade terms, pricing and application requirements. We may approve, decline or withdraw a trade account at any time.

Customer reviews and submitted content

If you submit a review or other content to our website, it must be genuine, your own, and not misleading, offensive, or unlawful. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and reproduce that content in connection with our business. We may edit or remove content at our discretion.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, product photography and design — is owned by or licensed to RainCo and is protected by Australian and international law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites or services we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or practices, and linking doesn't imply endorsement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, RainCo is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with its effective date shown. We recommend reviewing it periodically.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.

Events outside our control

We aren't liable for any delay or failure to meet our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including natural disasters, supply disruptions, industrial action, or failures of third-party services.

General

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Returns Policy, Warranty Terms and Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and RainCo regarding your use of our website and any purchase you make.
