You only need to purchase a separate shower diverter if your setup requires switching between multiple water outlets and your existing tapware does not already include one.

✅ You need a shower diverter if:
• You are installing a rain shower and a hand held shower and want to switch between them.
• You are using a bath spout and a shower head from the same water source.
• Your shower mixer does not have a built-in diverter.

❌ You do NOT need to purchase a separate diverter if:
• You are buying a shower rail set from RainCo, as it already includes an integrated diverter for switching between the hand held and overhead shower.
• You are installing only one water outlet (e.g., a single shower head or a single bath spout).
